Hello coaches!

I am sure that you are as busy as I am right now, but I wanted to touch base one more time (at least).

1) You may park anywhere on campus except faculty/staff parking (green lines). Do NOT park across the street from the Instructional Complex at the Women’s Clubhouse. The College does not own it, and cars parked there may be towed by the City.

2) Registration will be in the Gym (Alumni Hall). Registration will begin at 8:00 am in the front lobby, not one minute earlier! Impound for the device events in the gym (where required) will begin at 8:00 am. All impounds are in the Gym this year.

3) Just to make sure, Gym = Alumni Hall

4) With only eighteen teams, it should be easier to set up base camps in IC lobbies and in the Gym. I apologize that we cannot provide rooms. I would also appreciate it if you didn’t take over a room after an event finishes. We have no maintenance of classrooms prior to classes starting on Monday.

5) If you are coming with two teams, make SURE everyone knows which team they are on. I will provide different colored wristbands for second teams. I cannot stress this enough.

6) Make sure you are aware of GA specific rules. For instance, Science Word is Earth Science terms only.

1) Our food services on-campus are limited/non-existent. In town (not walking distance) we have Hardee’s, Wendy’s, Dairy Queen, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Subway, a Mexican restaurant, several BBQ/wing places, and an Italian place.

2) Think good thoughts for the weather. Right now, it’s not looking promising, but at least we don’t have any outdoor events.

3) I have updated the schedule, just to reflect the Awards ceremony.
